Kashmiri Students for Congress Membership
Just some weeks ago playing down the reports of a Congress foray into the university, the Vice-Chancellor of University of Kashmir, Prof Talat Ahmad told Tehelka, “If there are membership drives on the campus, we do not approve of them. As for politics on campus, I will not allow any party to set up shop here.” The Kashmir Walla publishes the list of students who have submitted their membership forms in National Students Union of India- a students wing of Congress party, from various colleges and University of Kashmir also.
